Quail & Pheasant Hunts

"We hunt only the 'classiest' and 'hard running' bird dogs available. All of our Pointers, Setters, German Shorthairs, and Brittanys are trained by us"

Guided Hunts

Our guided hunts are 1/2 day for quail, pheasant, or mixed bag, and include Dinner (lunch for you out-of-Towner's). 1/2 day hunts include: guide, field transportation, 12 quail or 5 pheasants, mixed bag has 3 pheasants & 6 quail. ***Overnight lodging available by request.

Cost is $275.00 per gun

Additional quail are $7.00 each and pheasant are $15.00 each (please make arrangements for additional birds).

We will clean and vacuum package your birds for $1.75 per quail and $2.75 per pheasant.

Hunt Your Own Dog

This is a 1/2 day hunt designed for the gentleman or lady who has their own special bird dog(s) and prefers to guide their own hunts. You may be accompanied by one guest shooter. The two of you will receive 24 quail or 10 pheasants or a mixed bag of 12 quail & 5 pheasants. Meals and overnight lodging available by request.

Additional quail are $7.00 ea. and pheasants are $15.00 ea. (please make arrangements for additional birds).

We will clean and vacuum package your for $1.75 per quail and $2.75 per pheasant.

Hunt Your Own Dog Memberships

300 Quail for $2,680.00

600 Quail for $5,250.00

This purchase will save you $450.00 with the 300 bird membership and $1,000.00 with the 600 bird membership (when compared against retail cost). We can pass the savings on to you when we know our bird counts for next season.

****Early Bird Special**** Pay your membership dues by August 15th and get a $100.00 off on 300 Quail & $200.00 off on 600 Quail!!!

This membership allows the purchaser to be accompanied by up to 3 guest shooters. All 'HYOD' outings are self guided. There is a 30 bird minimum per hunt. Pheasants can also be arranged for your hunts. We will gladly clean and vacuum pack your birds for an additional charge. No carryovers to next season.

0vernight guests are wonderfully accommodated at Ashford Manor Bed & Breakfast. Located in beautiful downtown Watkinsville, Ashford Manor is a beautifully remodeled Victorian style home that dates back to 1893. The Manor is filled with beautiful Victorian furniture and art. You can enjoy your full breakfast on one of the porches, in the gardens by the pool, or in air-conditioned comfort. Downtown Athens is easily accessible from the Watkinsville area.

****We are scheduling a couple of "Continental Tower Shoots" for next season. Be sure to call early to reserve your slot.**** Also, opening day "DOVE" shoots the 1st weekend of September!!!

Guide Services

This service is perfect for the gentleman or lady with private grounds. Dixie - Field Kennels will come to you and your group. We bring high quality dogs, guides, and field transportation needed to put on a plantation style quail/pheasant hunt. We can arrange for the meals and lodging of your guests if needed.
